The most important thing you need to know about me is that I love to learn and I love to teach. I’m fascinated by human relationships, including the relationship we have with our own body. In going through difficult times of my own, I learned some strategies that radically shifted my outlook on life and how I approach it. Sharing what I discovered with my clients and helping them transform the roller coaster ride of life into one that’s enjoyable rather than terrifying is one of my great joys.
I was trained and certified by the wise, delightful and hilarious Dr. Martha Beck, New York Times best-selling author and life coach. I am also certified as an Equus coach (one who uses horses as coaching assistants) and an Equus Master Facilitator, trained by the wonderful Koelle Simpson. Like all my teachers, my approach is based in science, yet lighthearted and far from painful.
Before my transformation, I was a CPA, and ran the financial side of a large public company. I also raised two wonderful children who were, and still are, my most treasured teachers. I’ve been married to a fascinating and patient man for 26 years. We live in the middle of the city with our horses, dogs, chickens and vegetable garden.
